Staten Island HS wrestling: Farrell goes unbeaten on first day of CHSAA State Dual Championships

ROCHELLE, NEW YORK — At Iona Prep High School on Saturday, Monsignor Farrell went 4-0 on the opening day of the CHSAA State Dual Meet Championships, putting them in a strong position to win another title.

After winning the Dave Ironman and Donald Douglas Memorial tournaments this season, the Lions will return on Sunday to play St. Francis of Buffalo, the state’s top-ranked team, in a game that could have major postseason seeding ramifications.
