Tesla’s Mega Charging Hub Coming to Florida’s Turnpike: Largest In World

Florida’s Turnpike in Osceola County is set to become home to the world’s largest Tesla charging station, offering a convenient stop for drivers travelling from Central Florida to South Florida.

Tesla plans to construct a massive supercharger site at exit 193, also known as the Yeehaw Junction exit. This ambitious project, expected to boast 200 stalls, is poised to revolutionize electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.

With the growing popularity of electric vehicles, such as Tesla cars, the need for reliable charging stations has become increasingly evident. Currently, there are only seven Tesla supercharging plazas with 64 charging stations along the turnpike. The addition of these new stalls will not only benefit Tesla drivers but also users of other EV brands.

In a progressive move, Tesla has begun extending “Supercharger access” to other EV manufacturers like Ford and Rivian, signaling a collaborative effort to expand the accessibility and convenience of electric vehicle charging.
