This fast-food chain is launching a new budget-friendly menu category

New York’s Staten Island. McDonald’s listened to its budget-conscious customers and is launching a new value-focused menu platform on January 7 that will feature special in-app offers, meal bargains, and a Buy One, Add One for $1 promotion on popular breakfast, lunch, and dinner items.

We are aware that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to value. In close collaboration with our franchisees, we have developed a new platform that will enable our clients to define value according to their own standards. McDonald’s USA President Joe Erlinger stated in a press statement announcing the introduction of the company’s new McValue menu. We’re thrilled to offer fans additional options to save each time they visit one of our locations, from discounts on their favorite item to well-known offers like the $5 Meal Deal.

Through next summer, consumers may order a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, small fries, four-piece Chicken McNuggets, and a small soft drink for just $5 thanks to the McValue menu.

Additionally, a new Buy One, Add One for $1 promotion will allow customers to mix and match items from the following breakfast and lunch menus to create their own deals:

In line with this, further regional discounts and in-app promotions will be added.

According to Cory Watson, McDonald’s owner/operator and National Value chair for 2025, my fellow franchisees and I are continually listening to what our consumers want from their local McDonald’s because we are small company owners. They tell us how crucial it is for them to find their favorite dishes at reasonable pricing, regardless of the location or state. And we are completely in agreement.

Discounted rates on iced coffees, soft drinks, cheeseburgers, chicken McNuggets, and other items are part of such offers.
