Yankees sign starting pitcher with 15 years of MLB experience

On Monday, the Yankees signed veteran right-hander Carlos Carrasco to a minor-league contract, bolstering their starting pitching depth.

The arrangement with Carrasco was originally reported by Jack Curry of YES Network. Carrasco may earn up to $2.5 million in performance bonuses in addition to the $1.5 million major league base salary, according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post.
