A 27-Year-Old Man Is Charged of Taking a Picture of A Child at A Target Store in Central Florida!

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says a guy is accused of following a 12-year-old girl into a Target store and taking pictures of her. The girl saw the guy and told her mother about him. Daniel Mora, 27, is being held without bond because he is being charged with video voyeurism. When the cops asked Mora about what happened, they said he admitted taking the picture for fun and said he felt embarrassed.

The event took place at a Kissimmee Target. Police say the girl saw a camera flash behind her while she was tying her shoelaces. She told her mom right away, and her mom told shop security about it. Surveillance video helped deputies find and identify Mora.

Police say Mora admitted taking a picture of the girl’s legs, and a search of his phone showed that he had taken more pictures and videos of girls in stores without their knowledge. Authorities say that surveillance video showed Mora squatting down and taking pictures of the girl.

Parents who didn’t want to be named were scared by the arrest. “There is a child there.” The parent asked, “What are you thinking about taking a picture of a child?” A third said, “It’s very disturbing because the fact that it happened multiple times and didn’t get caught is very disturbing.”

Deputies searched Mora’s home and found a flash drive with 100 pictures and videos of sexual abuse of children. Former Orlando Police Chief Orlando Rolón told parents to watch their kids more when they’re out in public.

“You should always accompany the child, but these are things that sound simple, and unfortunately, I don’t think we have these conversations with children as much as we should,” he stated. Rolón suggested teaching kids about the possible risks and telling them to pay attention to strange behavior.
