Get ready to immerse yourself in Puerto Rican culture! The highly anticipated Florida Puerto Rican Parade and Festival is back in Downtown Orlando on April 27th.
As always, the parade aims to honor Puerto Rico’s rich cultural heritage and history, while also recognizing the invaluable contributions of the Boricua community in Florida.
Leading up to the parade, there will be a series of events centered around the theme of “Civic Engagement and Responsibilities.”
These events are designed to empower and inspire the community to participate in various civic activities, including voting in elections, volunteering, serving on boards, engaging in local government, and even running for public office.
This year, the parade is dedicated to Juncos, known as “La Ciudad del Valenciano.” Special presentations and exhibits will showcase the traditions and unique characteristics of Juncos.
The festivities will kick off at 11:00 a.m. and continue until 11:00 p.m. Attendees can expect to see stunning floats, captivating dance troupes, delicious food vendors offering Puerto Rican cuisine, and of course, the vibrant sounds of Puerto Rican music.
